Permit regulations are different in each township and city. Please check your local bylaws to find out if a permit is required. If a permit is required the homeowner is responsible for submitting the application. Fences are required for in-ground pools.
Installation of fencing varies depending on the type of fencing, the project and the size of the job. A typical back yard with chain link would take one day to install. Wood and ornamental iron fencing would take at least 2 days. One day to set the posts and one day to finish the fence.
5. How close to our property line do you install your fences?
Standard installation of a fence is 3 to 6 inches from the property line. We do this so we do not encroach upon your neighbor’s property when excavating and setting the posts. This distance may vary based upon township requirements.
6. What type of warranties do you offer on your fences?
Fence Right offers one year warranty on materials to be free from defects caused by manufacturing or installation of the product.
Fence Right does not warrant defective materials caused by neglect, misuse or damages caused by acts of nature.
7. Do you repair fences?
Yes, Fence Right Inc. has a full-time service department for warranty work and fence repairs. However, at this time we only do repair work on Fence Right fences. It is difficult to fix fences that are constructed differently or made of material that we do not offer. We want to ensure that if we commit to repairing a fence, that you will be happy with the results.
8. I see that you are located in Stayner, Ontario. Where do you install your fences?
Our main head office is based in Stayner Ontario but we do install fences all over Simcoe County. These location include but not limited to: Stayner, Wasaga Beach, Elmvale and Barrie Ontario.
Underground locates are required by law for contractors and homeowners that are planning to excavate or drill into the ground. Ontario 1call coordinates with all utility companies to ensure the primary lines are marked out in a timely manner. This includes, Bell, Rogers, The Town or City, Local Gas company, Local Hydro company, TransCanada PipeLine etc.. It does not mark out private lines or sprinkler lines. Your contractor is required by law to provide this service for you and have all paperwork when working onsite. The locate process generally takes 5 business days but during peak times can take upto two weeks for the locates to be completed.
We have a variety of fence design options available and we'll help you choose a fence that fits your needs appropriately.
